A few kilometers from Hotel Lidenlund is Denmark's third largest forest area: Klosterheden Plantation. Here the wild beavers build dams, while the red deer majestically move around between the trees. Rare plants and delicious edible mushrooms grow on the forest floor, and at the western edge of the forest is an airfield from World War 2. World War II airfield.
